Distinctive Plantings was founded in 1990. It is a woman-owned, minority, small-business contractor located in Jessup, Maryland. It is a traditional interiorscape company offering design services, installation, fresh flower programs, holiday decorations and maintenance  with trained plant-care horticultualists.

Distinctive Plantings is a registered contractor with the Department of  Defense Central Contractor Registry.

We currently maintain plants in over 110 locations in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Our customers range in size from a small office to an 11-story office building.
